Stacy Katzwer
Director

Mrs. Katzwer received undergraduate degrees in Education and Judaic Studies from Stern College, and an MS Ed in Special Education from Hunter College.  She is certified in both New York and New Jersey and has over 14 years experience in education.  She has worked in both public and private elementary schools.

Prior to coming to SINAI, Mrs. Katzwer enjoyed working at Manhattan Day School on New York City’s Upper West Side where she spent several years as a Resource Room Coordinator, later becoming Associate Director of the Special Education department, and eventually Director of Judaic Studies Student Services.  Most recently, she served as Assistant Director of the SINAI Elementary Division at Kushner.  Mrs. Katzwer has also taught a variety of grades and subjects, in both mainstream and special education classes.

Over the course of her career, Mrs. Katzwer has conducted teacher training workshops, mentored new teachers, and has implemented and coordinated several school-wide activities involving over four hundred students.

 


Miriam Nekritz
Assistant Director

Miriam Nekritz received her Master’s Degree in Special Education for School-Age Learners from Adelphi University.

She has been with SINAI for the past eight years. Over these years, Miriam worked in several capacities: classroom teacher for elementary and high school programs, Associate Director of the elementary school, and SINAI curriculum coordinator.

She most recently served as Internal Coordinator for Middle States Accreditation.
